Having my eyelid lift is one of the best things I have done for myself. Before my procedure people would often ask me if I was tired or if I felt OK. When I looked in the mirror the person looking back at me did not reflect how I felt, she looked older and tired. I met with Dr. Sami for an evaluation and she quickly made me feel at ease because she, not only explained the procedure in detail, but also took time to listen to my concerns. I wanted to make sure I would look like myself only younger and more rested and that is exactly what I got. Now people ask me if I have done something different with my hair or my make-up and I like that, because the improvement in my appearance is noticeable but also subtle. I was a patient in your day surgery unit at Jones Tower in the Methodist Hospital on December –, 2013.
Dr. Mirwat Sami was my doctor. She is a good doctor and surgeon as I am sure you know. You may not however realize how she connects with her patients and how great she treats them. Her people skills and caring go a long way to maker her a great doctor.
It was the first time in your hospital and I was very impressed with the people we had contact with as well.
I will need eye surgery again in a few months and the peace of mind I have about my doctor, your hospital and the caring people on staff go a long way to make me comfortable.
